General conditions of the cruises

The cruises organised by Southern Spirit Lago Argentino SRL are subject to the following general conditions:

• Departures are subject to weather conditions (strong wind) and icebergs in front of Puerto Perito Moreno.
• The cruises do not include the Los Glaciares National Park entrance fee or the land transfer to the port (except when specifically booked).
• Participation implies full acceptance of these general conditions and cancellation policies.
• The cruises have limited capacity and may be rescheduled for safety reasons, force majeure or at the company's decision.

Participation restrictions

For safety reasons, the cruises may not be suitable for people with:

• Physical conditions that limit their mobility.
• Advanced pregnancy.
• Minors without written authorisation from their parents or responsible adults.

Recommended equipment

We suggest bringing:

• Comfortable, warm clothing.
• A waterproof jacket.
• Hat, gloves, sunglasses and sunscreen.
• Closed, waterproof footwear with good grip.
• Mayo Spirit Trek: a packed lunch (no food is sold on board).

Changes

• All changes must be made by email to reservas@southernspiritfte.com.ar.
• Bookings will only be confirmed once the confirmation email has been received from the company.
• If you do not receive a reply, we suggest resending the message or calling by phone.

Date changes

• Mayo Spirit Trek: a date change may be requested with no penalty up to 48 hours before of the service.
• Moreno Spirit: change with no penalty up to 24 hours before of the service.

Cancellation policy

Individual passengers (up to 9 people)

Groups (10 people or more)

Exceptions (apply to both cruises)

No cancellation charges will apply in the following cases:

• Health problems justified with a medical certificate. In the case of minors, the ticket of one accompanying adult is also refunded.
• Force majeure (flight cancellations, road closures, etc.) with supporting documentation.
• Cancellations by Southern Spirit Lago Argentino SRL: for weather reasons (for example, strong wind), icebergs in front of the pier or problems with a vessel, you will be refunded 100% of the ticket price paid.

Payment methods

• Cash (ARS, USD, EUR, Brazilian reais or Chilean pesos) at the office.
• Debit and credit cards (Visa / MasterCard).
• Bank transfer (request the details by email).

Scope

These terms and conditions apply to the use of the website www.southernspiritfte.com.ar. Any user who accesses it agrees to use it only for lawful, personal and informational purposes, and at their sole responsibility.

Intellectual property

All content on the site, including design, text, images, software, logos and databases, is the property of Southern Spirit Lago Argentino SRL or its licensors, and is protected by intellectual property law.

Use of the site

The following is prohibited:

• Making false or fraudulent bookings.
• Copying, modifying or distributing content without authorisation.
• Using automated software to extract data from the site.
• Interfering with the technical operation of the site.
• Using the site for commercial purposes without express authorisation.

Security and confidentiality

Users are responsible for keeping their access details confidential. Southern Spirit Lago Argentino SRL is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from user negligence.

Changes

The company reserves the right to modify the site, suspend its operation or update these terms at any time without prior notice.
